Artisan Challenge - Week 3
Week three projects for my 30 day artisan challenge - A lot of FreeCAD tutorials, followed with a 3D Printer build!
With about 50% of the challenge completed, I decided to use week 3 to learn more about FreeCAD so I can create more complex designs.
Day 15: FreeCAD Tutorials
For day 15, I continued MangoJelly's v1 playlist on YouTube to practice piping, working with primitives, and attaching objects to different faces
Day 16: FreeCAD Tutorials
Day 16 included more of the playlist - this time working with non-planar attachments and threaded holes
Day 17: FreeCAD Tutorials
Once again, I continued with additional videos from the FreeCAD playlist for day 17. The focus on these was lofting.
Day 18: FreeCAD Tutorials
Day 18 consisted of, you guessed it, more FreeCAD videos and practice! Today was lofting and piping
Day 19 & 20: Prusa Core One
I spent the majority of day 19 and 20 building my Prusa Core One. I've built a few printers in the past, but this was definitely more involved with a total time commitment of about 12 - 14 hours!
Day 21: Planter
For Day 21, I decided to make one of the geometric planters to hold a plant that's outgrown its pot
